Deny Internet policy does not block internet access

In my school we have Netop School 6.22 installed on Windows XP Machines.

When I select the Deny Internet policy, students are still able to access the internet via various browsers.

As suggested in other threads, I have ran the command (in administrator mode) "netsh winsock reset" but this has no impact - internet access is still allowed.

Are there any other solutions that can be attempted?

Dear CDrummond, thank you for taking the time to write this post.

This is an issue that requires further investigation and additional information so we can offer you a workaround.

Please submit a support case from here or contact us via Live Support, and your case will be taken over shortly by one of the members of our team.

Furthermore, please note that Netop School will be discontinued. Therefore, there will be no upcoming product releases.

However, rest assured that technical support is available for customers with active Advantage plans through the end of 2013.

Thank you again for your post and looking forward to hearing from you soon.
    Kindest regards,

    Gianina-Aniela
